Sewer work: We are replacing all the cast iron pipe in the whole house. We've already removed the old stuff. Now its time to put in the new!
Electrical: There is a lot of old knob and tube wiring (which is somewhat dangerous). We have exposed a lot of it. So, we are going to replace as much as we can see.
Insulation: In addition to running some electrical behind the base boards, we are going to blow some insulation into the cavities behind the walls.
Adding a bathroom: We will be turning one of the bedrooms into a bathroom. Which means, we will be doing framing, plumbing, electrical, to finish.
Plumbing (Supply): We are replacing the conglomerate mass of plumbing that was there before with a new Pex system. I've already set up the manifold, its time to run the tubing.
Paint: First, we will need to prep a few places, which involves replacing a couple boards around windows, and calking. After that, we have some great paint to put on the outside (gray with white trim).
- closing everything in with sheetrock or plaster repair
- putting all the trim back on (or replacing it, if its damaged.)
- cabinets and countertops in the kitchen
- HVAC: We are going to rerun a lot of the old duct work with a new system
- windows: We will be replacing all the windows in the whole house.
- Front porch repair. Its in pretty sad shape. - pouring new concrete in the basement where we have torn up the floor
- tuck pointing a few places on the stone
- a driveway on the side of the house (current there is none)
